Big: cowboy coffee sounds like something to try, what's your preference for coffee grounds etc?

SRay sorry ive been out playin cowboy/hunter/guide that last few, I have used the Starbucks French roast and found it good, I get it at Costco, If I get a chance I stop at this place and pick up the blend in the link, I REALLY LIKE IT. lots of people find this Cowboy coffee to strong for their taste's personally I haven't found but 1 coffee that was TO STRONG, and that was some Turkish stuff that im not sure was legal for sale :-laf If you do like GHarman say's below it works out pretty good, the wife grinds it course so it don't float when boiled and the coffee to pot/water raito is two of her hand fulls to the pot. We use that blue enameled pot and have found those to make the best for what ever reason???? We have tried some other pots but for the Cowboy style its the way to go. http://www.coffeetraders.com/index....e/product/french-roast/cat_idx/1/subcat_idx/9

Ahhh, but the trick is keeping the flavor! Grind the beans fresh. Yes there are hand cranked coffee grinders. I have one, it is over 100 years old:-laf!

That and how long you boil the coffee really makes a difference. One other thing I like to do is drop egg shells (from breakfast) into the coffee. This cuts some of the acid and gives the coffee a creamy look. It tastes like a "Cowboy Cappachino":--)!

Cowboy Cappuccino :-laf as long as I don't have to hold out my pinky to drink it:-laf

A lifestyle most in America will never get to experience, unfortunately. More unfortunate is that so many don't know it exists or want to experience it. You can find them by how they vote.

This is a very true statement, but the very last part is a little disturbing to me at least. The diversity in people that are in this camp is anything from a retired Truck driver, and OO truck driver of many years, a professional musician, 3 with various professions in medical fields, and one young man that has done NOTHING BUT HUNT AND OUTFITTING, to several guys with lot's of money from business's or financial investments, and One retired Pastor that seems to have come out of Retirement for one last saving, of a lost soul.

AND NOT ONE WORD ABOUT POLITICS HAS BEEN SPOKEN, JUST AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
