Here's a question for some of you more experienced "bombers" :
I installed a set of the PW injectors in the 92 about a year ago. They provided a mild gain in power with no noticeable drop in MPG but also noticeable smoke on acceleration from a stop. These injectors had (I think) 5 holes, body # 9744.
I now have a set of Bully Dog 50 hp (industrial) injectors for a 93 truck. I have'nt installed them yet--- thinking I might stay with PWs if the Bully Dogs smoke or lose MPG. These injectors have a body # 9350, tip # 9351 with 4 holes, @ 245 bar.
Has anyone had a chance to run both of these on the same truck for comparison---power, smoke, etc ?
For you guys running the Bully Dog 50 hp, what kind of smoke do you see? Any difference in MPG ?
It seems like more holes would make for a better spray pattern, but maybe thats not a big factor.
Can anyone tell me what the body numbers mean or where to look up information.
Thanks in advance,
K.
