I recently acquired a CD writer/re-writer... Actually, got it for Christmas.
What I am wondering, is what software you can use to copy cd's such as games? My kids have a habit of destroying their game CD's by forgetting to put them away, or stacking them up, or dropping or... . You get the picture. I'd like to make a working copy and store the original away safely. I've bought Monopoly 3 times already... don't want to do it again.
The software that came with my Sony CD burner seems fine for most operations, but it refuses to copy whole cd's of my kid's games.
Maybe my technique is wrong... I've never actually used a burner before. . But the software that came with it is called Sony CD extreme. Seems rather slow, as well. The burner burns the files quick, but the software takes forever to load and start working.
