One of the guys that pulls RVs for me has been running Dodge/Cummins for sometime now.
He thought he was being real smart by having 2 complete dash units. When one would get up close to the warranty cutoff point, he would install the other dash and keep rolling. Then he would take the first dash to a "mile buster" and have the miles turned back. He would put 2 to 3 HUNDRED THOUSAND miles on a truck and trade it with 60 to 70 K showing.
Turns out that the '02s have a built in hour meter in the computer and when he went in for service the other day,..... BUSTED!
