buying a new diesel

I have a friend that is going to buy a diesel in 06. He wants to do his research and buy what's right for him. I know the Dieselstop is the ford page, but what is the chevy page. He wants to buy the best, which I told him was dodge, but he wants to do his own research. What are the pros and cons of each? Any help will be appreciated.

Forgot that info. He is using it to pull a 30' Holiday Rambler he bought from his father. He says it's 8k empty and about 10k loaded. He's looking at a 2500 right now, but may consider a srw 3500.
