cab drains

I just pulled my floor mat up to install speaker wires and found alot of water. I had gotten floor wet to clean mud out and soaked the padding. There is no drains for water so i drilled a few in the wire chase groove near the door sill cover forward screw, there is a small low spot 2" long and 1/2"wide area perfect for a drain hole. the truck is a 2001 quad 4x4 3500 mls so look out.

It`s a shame that these trucks don`t have the inner body drain holes w/the black plugs like the older trucks do. At least I don`t think they do. I had to remove the drivers side sill plate a while back for some wiring project and don`t think I saw any.
