Cab Roof Clearance Lights

I just did some research about the Cab Roof Clearance Lights on the 1st Gen trucks and, searched the previous posts for information as well. I have the two piece old-style Amber roof clearance lights and nobody seems to make them... ... until now... . the original Manufacturer was Hella and they have just reintroduced the light once again. Instead of the Grey body it will be chrome. You should be seeing these hit the market pretty soon. .

I do not have a part number as yet but, will get back with more info as I get it... . for those of you who want to remain stock... .

Thanks for the heads-up, Jason. There have been previous posts about folks wanting to get a stock or close to stock cab light. I'd like to see what they look like. I have considered painting my bases black, as the plastic doesn't look all that good anymore.



Hope that you and yours are doing ok down that way. Tough year for your neck of the woods.

Yep no longer available. I picked up two sets while at a junkyard aways back. Anytime you see NLA parts in good condition for sale or at a junkyard, pick em up!

YEAH BABY... . That is what the guy told me... chrome body... exact duplicate. .

I got 5ea setting here right now. But I bought them from a add in the TDR classified adds. So I can't help on numbers or anything.



These take 194 light bulbs also. The lens does not remove. You have to unsrew the light to change a bulb out.



I don't know how our stockers are setup. I have never had a cab marker blow a bulb yet in the 8 years I have owned my truck.

Mine have the rubber grommet that plugs into the amber light socket... I have had them leak water into the lens portion and that corroded the socket... I have not blown a light... but, the corrosion kills the connection... so, I have to pull them out... clean and dry them... and then knock the rust off the socket with a screwdriver... . the lenses on my stockers are all crazed and cracked... ... I hate looking up there and seeing the lens half full of water... . I will see about part numbers on Sunday or Monday... .

Philip, are you working for the TDR now as a moderator? Just curious...

Good to hear they are available again. I don't care for the chrome, but better than a set of JCWhitney 2nd gen clearance lights.

Philip... . do you have a part number or a source for the photo of the

cab light that you posted earlier?

I don't have a part number. The add I bought them from said they were orginal Dodge markers. But being chromed I knew they weren't. There was no orginal packing when I recieved them. They were wraped up and shipped to me in a plain card board box.

I was working with A&M lighting on Ebay and the guys said that they

would have those listed last Sunday... I have not heard back and they

have not listed. Where did you get yours from?

I bought mine from a " For Sale" add in the TDR classifieds.
