Cab top marker lights , good new ones with good gasket/seal

I just pulled all 5 of my my cab marker lights (leaking) and replaced the seals with butle tape.

Previous owner spayed some of that black tint on the cab lights also the tail light lenses

Mine had that black rubbery/foam rounded o-ring type seal, junk. I scraped it off and cleaned the roof area, and used flat about 3/8" wide butle tape , also rapped a sliver piece of butle around the screw head, to seal. They wont leak now

some of my lights had small crack marks around the front screw area that I put some crazy glue on to prevent any leaks

Im going to replace the lights, since they have cracks, if I can find some withe better gaskets and a reasonable price (no LEDs unless they are cheaper)

Anyone find good replacement lights that have better gaskets/seals, standard bulb type?

The factory ones, you can get'em from Genos.
Yours are aftermarket, factory has a rubber form seal.
And the base of the OEM light lenses have a very slight radius to them, matching the roof - the aftermarket ones are flat that's why they come with a foam seal.

I 2nd the OEM ones. I converted to 4th Gen ones, since they are clear.

Genos below. Mine the lens looks the same but doesnt have that black 'gasket' base. Mine the seal is hidden underneath.
So mine arent factory original? Maybe the Previous owner put some junk smoked ones on there. I thought he just sprayed some of that rattle can smoke clear coat on the originals

I like the clear ones, but $29 instead of $19.... Do you use same bulb with clear or get a amber bulb?

The lens looks the same but isn't identical as I said.
I've gotten the clear ones like John.

You would need an amber bulb.

I found some OEMs in Clear on ebay alot less than genos

Shows the mopar box and same oem part number as genos. Ive had excellent dealings with good ebay sellers

Just be sure they are OEM, and not cheap knockoffs.
