The earth has been in and out of an ice age several times without our help. We humans are currently at the top of the food chain because we adapt to our environment better than anything else has. We had better adapt rather than stick our heads in the sand pretending any of the highly profitable Global Warming schemes can do anything about it. One volcano blowing it's top makes man's contribution less than a rounding error.
Our adaptation to deal with forest fires is lacking. Every year it's the same thing: somewhere out west literally 1/2 the state burns down. It's time to seriously question the vehicle free zones and other forest mismanagement that allows uncontrollable firestorms let alone constant uncontrolled wildfires. By bad "slash and burn" farming practices we generated a dust bowl. Land management since then has reversed this. So there isn't any reason we can't get forest fires easier to control and put out. From the body count climbing this year to having to check for forest fires before going camping it's past time to take forest management seriously and do a better job than is being done now. I disagree with the let it burn because it's all natural, some trees need fire for their pine cones to open... Nope. Time for natural selection adaption and choose different trees.
The emissions and CO2 scrubber damage (aka loss of said forest) from a forest fire should concern you no matter what side of the isle of the Global Warming Religion you are on.
