It really depends if you find a guy that knows what he is doing and actually gives a you know what. The guy I used has a Banks equipped PSD Expedition and knew the law well and knew which parts needed the carb sticker and which ones didn't. All I did was remove my DDTTPM(which I did in his parking lot), He noticed the K&N filter in the air box (with extra holes), the missing muffler, said those items didn't matter. He saw the module on the floor and winked and said thanks for taking it off. I ditched the blowby bottle years ago and added some hose down to the sway bar, where it is secured... . he didn't say anything about it.

Bignasty,

Big Boo boo boo to you then. You shouldn't have left the state then. I'm not looking for a full auto, but all the other restrictions I feel are an infringement on my constitutional rights.

I didnt leave the state because of the gun laws I was happy with the firearms that I had and haven't really changed anything sense moving not anything that I couldn't have had in CA.

The reason the we left was the people and TO MANY OF THEM and most are not supposed to be in the U. S. And most that are here want some kind of free ride. I have YET HAD ONE BUM come up and ask for anything in MT.

The things that we miss are the Music/sports/Food/Motor sports off hand thats about it other than friends and family.

Ditto what Sam said. I asked around and found a smog guy who owns a diesel truck. He glanced under the hood, hooked up the computer, let it idle for 30 sec. or so, never rev'd it up, and I was good to go. He said the training video he got from CARB was highly technical, it showed a split screen of "acceptable and unacceptable" smoke. Admitted the whole this is BS.
