I have a 2001 2500 with disc brakes all around and was wondering what size the torx diver is to remove(2 bolts that hold the it on) the calipers? I have looked through my manual and can not find it anywhere. I'm not sure if that is the correct (torx) spelling.

MMclain, I think they are but will check tomorrow. It's raining like cats and dogs right now and its darkoutside. Beautiful B. C. weather

3/8" hex on my '95. . (and same as the man. trans. plug) . . I use a 3/8" drive socket type and with an old cheapo round handle 3/8" drive ratchet and a short piece of 1/2 galv. pipe for a breaker bar extension. It's come in very handy. JohnG

Thanks for the replys everyone, I think Dodge changed back and forth from torx and Hex. Thanks Blue Beast and Bob Wagner for your torx size#45. I will go buy one.

Vaughan,

On My 01 ,..... if you are talking about the "Reverse Torx" looking bolt where it has a head sticking out and it is star shaped, then it is a end wrench, 12 point and If I remember correctly, is like a 16MM wrench but it is a 12 point wrench you use either a socket or end wrench... .
