Hey Matt,
Do you think a pair of these could be squeezed into the oem housing, much like JKlopp did in this thread?
I doubt it, they are too big around I am sure at 5. 75" diameter.
Here is a pic of what I did on my truck-
- Center lamps are KC driving slimlites
- Outboard are KC slimlite buckets with CSR low beam lamps
- Bar is a Randy Ellis
- OEM fogs have 9005 all weather bulbs
Modding the oem lamps concerned me that I may end up without a DOT approved lamp that originally came on the truck.
An add on lamp falls under a different rule where I live.
I didn't want to do a light bar but caved for function over looks, now I like it.
Some other ideas. . I would like to see someone do a HID Hella 90mm Bi-Xenon mounted in the oem fog location, this way you could have a Hi/Low setup in there switched with the oem Hi/Low's. You just loose fog capability.
Looks expensive but add up all the parts on mine wasn't exactly cheap either.

Just two lamps on the same light bar looks pretty good to IMO and for much less money you could run 8"x6" Hella's
They are an H4 lamp so have a Hi/Low bulb.

Another idea I had was to use a pair of
Cibie H4 conversion lamps that should be a direct fit in a
KC daylighter housing.
The housings are not shown separate as a part but you can get them by calling and come complete with everything except the lamp.
