Funny you say that! Who else (other than American companies) makes a 2500/3500 truck with a diesel? The foreigners can't compete in this field! Heard a news story recently that Toyota RECALLED more vehicles last year than it sold!! The Japanese make "some" good vehicles, but most of them are worthless for anything more than riding around in.
German vehicles (BMW, Mercedes and some Volkswagons) seem to be good vehicles and at least are or soon will be available with diesel power.
No other country has yet to offer a truck that can tow a 10 ton trailer, comfortably haul 6 people, outrun most vehicles on the road and still get 18-20 mpg (unloaded)!!! I have loved every Dodge I have owned (1993 250 4x4, 1996 3500 4x4(still have), (2) 1998 3500's and my current 2003. Overall, the 2003 is my favorite. All have been nearly flawless and NO engine troubles, except for the KDP on my current 1998 work truck. Clutches and auto trannies seem to be the weak links...
