Calling all GTech Owners

The instructions say to ensure that this thing is mounted horizontally, but the only way I can get it to give me a GO signal is to mount it to the windshield and angle it down until it's reading 0. It definitely is not horizontal. Anybody else care to comment on this? Where on the windshield did you mount yours?

What they mean by horizontally is left to right, like if you put a level on it running from your drivers door to passengers door that it would be level. Once you have it there you have to tilt it up or down to get it to read 0 which is level from front to back. Also you want to put in the exact middle of the windshield. I use the two lines that run up the center of the hood to center it. Then I go outside the truck and stand in front of it to make sure it's level and centered.

Thanks, Steve. I thought I was going crazy. It would have been nice of the manufacturer to explain that in the instructions.
