Anyone every hear of a rear truck bumper manufactured by a company called "DMI"? Should be popular with farmers/ranchers. Could anyone give me details on it, pictures, cost, place to purchase etc?

'Net search didn't really turn up anything.

Thanks

I've been running a DMI for a long time. Works great for one person hookups, and taking the yank out of whatever I'm pulling. Its even been hooked to a pullig sled a bunch and yanked on straps and chains off road. Mine is the old style flat hitch, you can get newer receiver type with the chrome drop bumper. That is the way I would go, a little more adjustability in height, and can remove it to get it out of the way. My DMI is inthe same space a kelderman air ride is, so I can't slide my hitch in when not in use.

As you pointed out, they are very popular with farmers. As far as a good place to get one, I was at a machinery consignment auction this fall and you could easily pick them up for $50. They were the old style, not like the new, fancy chrome ones. But if you're looking for functionality over looks, they are great.

I have the chrome drop center on mine. Absolutely love it, there is nothing else if you are pulling wagons or anything else for that matter. Had one on my 94 ,2000, dad's 83 chevy and now his 95 Ram. As far as where to get one, I would start with United Truck Parts in Indiana. They now manufacture them under the DMI name.
