BILLVO said:Let me make a big appology to Brady for how I started this thread it was a bit aggressive and I did not know about him not being able to post here nor did I know about the sema show. I did not mean for things to go wrong as it did here I also appologize to everyone else in Tdr land for having seen this I just wanted to bring it to his attention and didn't get a speedy response> I now know why. We have been in contact and will get it straightened out. They did send the wrong one.
Once again a big
I"M SORRY to Brady and II.

rivercat said:Doug what do you really get with the $1900 for the silver 62 when its not polished even if it has better than the sps62 parts inside seems like a waste to me unless of course the $1900 is only for the polished silver 66 and the unpolished 62 is less expensive.
Due to my head gasket being blown I have my ps62 off and in its box ready to ship and am spending this rain day trying to decide what to have it upgraded to. I was set on the sps62 cause the ps62 seems plenty big on the air side just looking for quicker spool. But im open to any recomendations not sure what the silver does better yet but I am waiting on an "in the know" reply.
Doug also waiting on a PM from you on some pricing Thanks ALL
good thread after the starter got scolded for bashing II Before he gave them the chance to right their wrong
thekidfan said:Just a FYI, the SPS 62 is going to spool slower then the PS 62 you have now. You can have the ex. housing quick-spooled to aid in spool-up alittle but adding the bigger wheel of the SPS sure won't help you spool any faster, just more air on top.
Forrest Nearing said:you do
smaller turbine wheel = less weight and smaller "nozzle" for the exhaust gas to pass through, so it's going to do so with more force... quicker spool up at the cost of more backpressure
Jetpilot said:The difference between the PS62 and the SPS62 has to do with the exhaust... . In the case with the "Super" Phat Shaft 62 they use the larger turbine wheel from a Super Phat Shaft 66 with the 62mm compressor wheel. The difference this makes is faster spoolup and reduced backpressure.
