So what happen here, did someone get there poor widdle feeling hurt and decide to complain to the TDR.

:-laf :-laf :-laf

I donno what happened, but I'm guessing people were maybe told the facts straight... .

I've gotten into trouble like that... . "Dood, your an idiot!" Tends to make people angry..... no matter how true it is!

(again I don't know what the situation is/was... this is just an example of what happens occasionally around here!)

Jim

it's really not anyones bussiness what happened, i was just letting the majority know.

Sounds to me like someone needs to just suck it up! Man they wouldn't last a day with me on the road.

Back to turbo's!

I'm really pleased with the new gate and how it controls everything with the bigger ports and spacer. I don't know what the deal was with the older one other than it was beat to pieces. I have really put that one through the ringer over the last 2 years.

Please Read

First, Industrial Injection was not "banned", however at this time they do not have the ability to post in the forums. If you want more details you will need to contact II. But there is a difference between being banned and temporarily not being able to post. Like most everyone else on TDR I do not like seeing incorrect information thrown about.

Second, as a few mentioned the starting post of this thread is a little abrasive. So much so that it caught my attention as a moderator. As long as this stays on track, I will leave this thread alone, but if it turns into :-{} ... well you guys know the drill.

The best piece of advice I can give to the thread starter is this:

Call II and ask for Shane. Shane will cross reference the id tag against their records. Also shane will know every spec for the turbo. From fin count to bearing size.

I'm confident that whatever the case may be; that II will make the situation right.

call Brady???

Mr. moderator and crawler you are right. Spoke to Brady today and he is aware of the problem. He PMed "BIllvo" today. Brady and the staff were in Las Vegas for the SEMA show last week and was not aware of the problem. Mr. Billvo I sugguest you call Brady at Industrial Injection ASAP and he will resolve your problem. If I can call him you can as well.

Mr. Moderator, I sugguest you lock this thread as the two parties need to contact each other first. No need to speculate or cause this thread to get into a :-{} match.

Thanks

The silver 62's we have sold have not had the polished compressor housing... . But the turbine side does not look right, Here is a pic I just photographed of a silver 62 turbine.

Let me make a big appology to Brady for how I started this thread it was a bit aggressive and I did not know about him not being able to post here nor did I know about the sema show. I did not mean for things to go wrong as it did here I also appologize to everyone else in Tdr land for having seen this I just wanted to bring it to his attention and didn't get a speedy response> I now know why. We have been in contact and will get it straightened out. They did send the wrong one.

Once again a big

I"M SORRY to Brady and II.

God forgives, so do we..... no biggie!

Jim :)

I too tend to be rather impatient over situations that appear to be - or ARE - arbitrary, unfair or not as advertised, it sure can make the lower lip sore from biting back the temptation to react loudly and aggressively! ;) :D

And fact is, sometimes it DOES come to that, and rightfully so - we just need to use a bit more patient judgement as to which battles really deserve the fight, and when... :D

No harm, no foul - and if anything, II gets points for properly taking care of business and providing great customer service - as usual!

Thanks Brady! :D

I just got off the phone with Brady and problem has been resolved. It even went so well I sent him more money for a Smarty. Warm fuzzy feelings are back :) .

Doug what do you really get with the $1900 for the silver 62 when its not polished even if it has better than the sps62 parts inside seems like a waste to me unless of course the $1900 is only for the polished silver 66 and the unpolished 62 is less expensive.

Due to my head gasket being blown I have my ps62 off and in its box ready to ship and am spending this rain day trying to decide what to have it upgraded to. I was set on the sps62 cause the ps62 seems plenty big on the air side just looking for quicker spool. But im open to any recomendations not sure what the silver does better yet but I am waiting on an "in the know" reply.

Doug also waiting on a PM from you on some pricing Thanks ALL

good thread after the starter got scolded for bashing II Before he gave them the chance to right their wrong

Just a FYI, the SPS 62 is going to spool slower then the PS 62 you have now. You can have the ex. housing quick-spooled to aid in spool-up alittle but adding the bigger wheel of the SPS sure won't help you spool any faster, just more air on top.

I was under the impression the PS 62, SPS 62 and Silver 62 all use the same compressor. The difference between the three is the turbine. PS 62 smallest of the three, SPS 62 middle size and Silver 62 biggest. If this is indeed true than would not the SPS spool quicker than the PS and the Silver spool quickest? Maybe I have it bass ackwards... ... .

you do :p

smaller turbine wheel = less weight and smaller "nozzle" for the exhaust gas to pass through, so it's going to do so with more force... quicker spool up at the cost of more backpressure

The difference between the PS62 and the SPS62 has to do with the exhaust... . In the case with the "Super" Phat Shaft 62 they use the larger turbine wheel from a Super Phat Shaft 66 with the 62mm compressor wheel. The difference this makes is faster spoolup and reduced backpressure.

Doug

NOT sure whos right but am sure doug has probobly installed more of the II chargers than anyone else...

I am still on the fence on what to do here Wish Someone from II would get on here and

"SELL THE PRODUCTS"

hate having to bug people that dont profit at all for recomendations on what to do or how they like the stuff

Cant get Shane on the phone and the website is really inconclusive if you don't know exactly whats what.

sorry about the hijack maybe I should start a new thread
