Hey I'll take a lot of ribbing, but don't insult my kid, he is not a dumb ***, and he's currently ranked #2 in PKA right now in the western conference. Hold the Moron comment to yourself, I haven't insulted you or anyone else here, so don't start we me, otherwise I'll send junior over to teach some well needed manners. :-laf

The reason I want the money locked up prior to seeing our car, is I've done this type of racing since you were in diapers, and I'm not dragging it out to a race and have someone back out on me, or try to change the race (like asking for cars, the move, etc. ) I could care less if you see the car, and by reading your post, I get the strong opinion you really don't know anything about street racing. . You people kill me, somebody has something faster or quicker than you so you all revert to nasty sarcasm? Hey, I've looked at some of the crap you all drive and the trailers you all live in and believe me, you don't have a foot to stand on. Let's keep this post directed to the race, and keep the personal insults out.

Did you play team sports?

After reading the above, You can PM me his phone number, I'd rather not PM you my phone number and have it blabbed all over this post after reading the above.

Sorry, did I give away something? No location was mentioned.

PM sent with his cell number. He's waiting. 4:50pm.

Oh, I meant dumb***** looking kid. You are obviously the dumb one.

So, What exactly is wrong with my 2 story double wide :-laf

BTW You will have to be over 60 to have even been able to see over the steering wheel when I was in diapers.

Why does anyone really want to see a photo of Viper 2? Its just like Viper 1 but a tad lighter and quicker.

so whats to hide?

What is to hide is the fact that he doesn't have a street car that can beat the Supra. Gotta admit, it's tough to beat over 1000rwhp with anything, especially when it has a stereo, A/C, plates, etc. When the Viper boys have to pull out the RACE HARDWARE to beat the STREET cars, that tells the tale.

Now Hasselbach is putting in a bunch of stipulations

Listen , drop this money bs and internet trash talking and get out there, race like a man and earn some respect.

i wanna see this race happen more than anyone but I think Hasselback is starting to throw a bunch of loopholes to avoid it so he can say he wasn't the one to wimp out

dave

edit: the record 1/4mile for a viper is 8. 75 :-laf

Which was done by a viper tuner shop with a lot more than just twin turbos and is hardly a street car.

There are more than a few street supras with AC and all accessories running faster than that. Give respect where its due and leave these biased ignorant opinions on the side.

yeeeehawwww

Great entertainment !!!!!!! We have silver Fiats, diesels, Sensei’s, portraits plus, a description of my house (white trailer, siding falling off) Yeehaw, I’m going down to the handy mart and buy me a frozen pizza… I was having a bad day cause I broke my mower’s handle off pulling it out from the overgrown weeds. Gotta go, I hear my neighbor’s car .

I find it hard it believe both these statements came from the same post. As far as junior goes how about you do your own dirty work :-laf are ya scared?

I've got some backers that will start this off at $10k, and go upward from there, 1 to 1 odds, you match it, or the race don't go down, simple isn't it. What's this $100 stuff? Come on, for a race like this, put up some big money

Did you guys miss this? How funny Mr Richy Rich. And we thought, from all your comments, that you were loaded. Now you have to get others money involved? Why is this?

I dont understand the top secret location either. Do yourself a favor, make it in the daylight for all to see so you can either shut everyone up or limp home. Only bad people hide in the dark.

Please understand I am unbiased, we just want a fair race, street machine against street machine with nothing to hide.

Well, the location isn't necessarily "top secret" but it will be between Garth and Tim and their subsequent friends. They expressed concerns about a lot of people showing up, which I can understand.

Tim's guy Keith did call Garth and left a message. Garth returned the call and said "Let's do this!" So, I guess we're a go! He did have concerns with running at night on a 2-lane road and will make suggestions for a run during daylight hours and a place to do it.

Funny enough, Garth has at least one bike and one other Supra ready to line up with the Viper for money as well.

Oddly though, the phone number that Garth had to call to get ahold of Tim's assistant Keith was in Massachusetts... I thought Tim's bio said he lives in Vegas... matter of fact, HE said he lived at Flamingo/Eastern early on. Whatever. Garth is now waiting on a return call from Tim's assistant.

Question, are you ignorant, or just pretending to be?

1. Who says I don't have part of my money on the race? Yeah, I got some backing and we can go a lot higher (have done so in the past), but so what? That's called street racing. You think I should risk my life for free for the interest of embellishing your plain, boring life? Ha, entertainment costs money.

2. Top secret location? Homer, so you think its better for me to do this on the Interstate 15 during rush hour? Let's even get better, how about down Flamingo during lunch time? Yeah, that's right, we want everyone there to stand on the side of the road while going at a high rate of speed in the middle of the day. Nothing like attracting the attention of the local police while doing close to or over 200. . Does Illegal Speed Contest mean anything to you?

3. Who said my Viper 2 isn't a street machine? Yeah, maybe its got a few extra pieces of chrome molly in it, but its got a full interior, full exhaust, a nice radio, and windows that role up and down. Oh yeah, current Nevada plates too. . sounds to me like a street vehicle.

Anyway, I had my assistant call and leave a message to Mr. Supra, and nothing has been returned, yet. We are here at the shop getting the Viper ready for the show down. Sunday night late we'll see who is got the faster car. .

Actually, a message was left at the number given within minutes of the first call. Go check the machine.

Really, this is this a go? Keith left a message for Garth, but hasn't heard back. Yes, its a Mass number because of a business interest we have there. If he can't afford the toll, call collect. Otherwise, we'll see you guys at you know where you when when. .

Not for another month (2/25). These cars want to run 100 on anyway. Not from a stop. We've got a Supra that would go from a stop, but the Viper won't.

Obviously he got the message and made the return call (how would I know the number otherwise?). Message was left.
