This poll has been pretty close to 50/50, right along.



To my knowledge, COMP has the only public times posted, over and over... .



So, are the Edge voters cheerleaders, wishful thinkers, Comp haters, or do they know something the rest of us do not?



And why is Edge, who is the leader of Diesel electronics, using a 12 valve?



And why is the DD end of it not more advanced in power, and engine building? I mean they had an almost in house truck, that was claimed to have 799. 9 HP on stock parts, except for injectors and a(1) turbo? A full blown race engine should have over 1000 HP, no problem.





And COMP, don't worry about chargers being able to light at the tree, I believe that is the last of their worries. Getting those gasser trash light duty Top Fuel parts to hold the Cummins TORQUE is more of a concern!!! ;) :-laf

Anyhow, the only thing I've known Doctor Sadler to operate on, is folks billfolds. But Greg builds a pretty bad truck. :confused: Did I say that?

I'm with the other guys... ... I'd pay to see this at Indy or MM. Greg has done good things and continues to make progress to try and beat the edge truck into the 6's. i think the weight of the edge truck will hurt them just a lil bit :rolleyes:

I was depressed; the farm sent one of my favorites to the auction. We just got some new dairy replacements and one of them looks like a Guernsey (brown face) Got to go, the foremen's on his way back up to the creamery……. :)

again where is some one from EDGE , are they not going to respond.



One of several things are true.



First Edge truck is nothing but a show truck from the beginning



Or second the edge truck became a show truck when it was found that no mater how much money was thrown at it would not run .



Third they are on a very slow learning curve and are not to the point where they can out run me, and or out drive me , but the marketing department went in to Mega Mental Never Never land ,and just decided it was cheaper to bend , the truth a little.



Forth , Keith’s experience level is not to the point of running the truck, if that’s the case , some one let me know , I know this is not Keith’s doing , and I hope they don’t push him beyond his experience level , because these trucks will bite you if you let them.







Again I apologies to the people on here that don’t know the deal , for being this brash , but when you work this hard and some one tries to illicitly steal the show with a bunch of deceitful fabrication , you have to make a stand . I am going to possably go to May Madness , and to Indy , right now its up to my brother fire fighters to work in my stead to get off to go and race at May Madness, as the vacation books are full. I might need crew , if any one is interested

i agree greg has done great things with the diesel racing and all the "weasel" has done is pay a butt load of advertising. greg, what could you do with 1/2 the advertising dollars they spend on that thing?? yours would probably be show quality too, but still run in front of fans. i dont care if the edge truck is faster, greg has put personal time and effort into the sport, edge has a payroll team for that. for all those that bash greg for braging, would you brag if you had a 8 sec diesel truck?? think about it for a sec. greg doesnt brag about it and leave it, he tells how he done it too.

Thanks Mat , we are going to the new Mopar Colors in a few months , but they can’t pry it out of my hands to paint it. We have been testing a lot of new ideals , and some work , some don’t work so good. I have started a CR long block in anticipation of the next generation of Doc’s electronics . I have adapted a p-pump front cover to run this new motor until the switch. Doc has built me a new pump and injectors to go with this new motor , and they look killer . The new design forged piston is going to be great along with a rod combination to go with it , this will be available to the public soon . I really want to go race , testing is nothing but work, I would really like to run the truck in a super category , with a dead on dial diesel motor , the amount of power to run in say, super street at a 10. 90 index would be a little more then a good CR street motor . 700 fly wheel hp would easily run 10. 90 at 145 to 150 mph , the diesel would react better to a throttle stop then a gas motor , and I believe that changes in density altitude would be less the a comparable gas burner. I have been testing Coans new stuff , and to say the least its incredible .
 
Any time , Andy , your welcome to come racing with me , I am serious contemplating going to MM05 maybe the Edge truck might show up, but If I'm there , I doubt it . Vegas is great this time of year, I'm have to run the Dallas NHRA Lucas Oil divisional to keep up my grade points, and then it might be off to Vegas.

Vegas would be a great idea.



I think that is were Edge stores the truck anyway. I will have to confirm that. It might be at the corporate office in Ogden, Utah.

I have no vested interest in either of these parties. However, I feel if you are going to state you have the fastest truck you had damn well better be willing to step up and prove it.

I know if I made claims like that and all the talk that has been going on with my reputation as a person and company I would sure show some proof of it and not hide when I have been called out :eek:
 
Comp if you been around this site for any lenght of time you sort of get branded by the people you hang with. Dr. P shares a rep about on the level of Banks. But I do believe your truck is faster but I also believe you will never get to race the Edge truck. You might have better luck racing the "Brown" truck.
