I've gone thru my second set of BF Goodrich ATs, and was wondering if anybody had come out with anything better recently. I am starting to go off-road more often now as my truck gets older. Have heard a lot about the Bridgestone Revo's, all positive. Y'all have any opinions?

Toyo tires

I would recommend Toyo's for a alternate to BFG's, they a have a Wild country and M55 's which are pretty aggressive, for a little less aggressive I run Open country AT.

I had good results with the Yokohama Geolander AT+2's. Same size, they were quieter on pavement, more aggressive off road, and the wear pattern was very good.

I like the Wranglers from Goodyear. That being said, it will be hard for me to go with anything other then the BFG All Terrians since the ones on my truck have 59,000 miles on them. The rears are in need of replacing though. ;)

I just got rid of a set of Toyo Opencountry A/T tires. I only managed to get roughly 29K out of them. I had schwabs rotate, check pressures and check balance every 3-5k. I wasnt really happy with their performance as far as durability but they were good in packed snow and wet pavement. I went with BFG M/Ts this time figuring if I'm gonna have a tire that wears down that fast I might as well be able to have some fun with em. I've heard good things about the Toyo M55's and the ProComp all terrains have a 50,000 mile warranty. But BFG A/Ts are hard to beat.

i had the goodyear at/s tires on my 97 tahoe when i had her, and they were pretty good i think. they were quiet on road, and in the snow they were pretty good too. my pop has nokian 10LT's under his truck right now [he is using them as winter tires] they have a directional tread that is somewhat agressive. he is on his 5th season with them [and they have gotten some pretty good spring/fall dry weather use also] and they are still looking real good [more than 1/2 tread left]

I had Kelly Safari AWR's on my 2k and liked them.

As of now, they don't make the 17's in LR E's for us 3rd gen guys though.

FYI - I believe the Mastercraft's are made by Kelly also. .

I ran a set of Goodrich A/T's, and replaced them with Cooper Discoverer A/T's. At this point I like the Coopers better for both dry and wet/snow conditions.

I have had two sets of BFG's and had no complaints except for price. I then tried Pep-Boys house brand tires that look almost the same as BFG's and are called Futura Dakota's. I am now on my second set with no complaints. The first set I got 63K miles with and still had 4-5 32's tread left. For 89. 99 per tire (285/75/16's ) I have money left over for better things. :D

I just installed my second set of America's Tire Pathfinder ATR (315/75R16s on stock alum wheels) tires on my '00 4wd 2500. I got 63K miles out of the first set.
