Can I plug an Ipod into the radio

I ordered a new truck today. I went with the single disc radio because I was told the aux input on the lower left corner worked with an ipod. I just want to confirm this with actual users.

Just plug your Ipod into the aux input and push the aux button. You still have to control the Ipod from the Ipod except for volume. Works great!
