Competition Can you do this on the dyno?

Off Roading Skyjacker rear springs

So does anybody have any ideas how I could nail out some more boost? If I get the opportunity Saturday I plan to make about 8 pulls back to back, 2 with injectors only, 2 with box on kill + injectors, 2 with Box + injectors + sticks EZ on jumper 3, 2 with Water Methanol + injectors + Box and the ez.

Maybe I am way off base but I am thinking that if I can pull up another 10 psi on the Dynojet there is probably another 40 hp lurking in that 10 psi that I could grab. What do you guys think?

Any ideas?

Jeff

The Dyno-Jet is an inertia type dyno. The rollers you sit on weigh a combined total of 5400 lbs and there is no provision for loading them. It also has a barometric provision that automatically adjusts for altitude. As I understand it it is supposed to take the "human" factor out of the dyno runs and keep the numbers consistant for all Dyno-jets.

Dunno what is going wrong for you guys. We've never had a problem here. Are you sure the TCC is locked up? 200hp or 800hp, the boost is never that different like you are running into.

Ok guys, maybe I am loosing my mind. I am running on a different Dynojet 248 Saturday, I will watch this closely and see what happens.

Maybe I did loose my mind, I dont know. Anyway, I ran yesterday on another 248 in Fort Collins. Power was darn near identical, same setup I ran 518hp here where in Denver I ran 520, close enough for me. Forgot to write down boost numbers without adding in the new toy Water Methanol but with Water Methanol I built 35. 4 psi. Consensus has been that this adds about 3-4 #'s of boost so I am wondering if I was building 32 before in Denver. Without Water Methanol I can build 42-43 psi on the street. That would make more sense. Anyway, new top # for me is 555hp (no torque readings :{ we couldnt get the sensor to stay on. ) Lots of tuning left with the Water Methanol so I think theres more left in the ole dodge! Oo.
