Carrier Bearing

I need to replace the carrier, the rubber all around it is shot. Build date for the truck is 4-04. I have two part numbers AAM 40021334 and Timken 25-32039X. Just wanted to see if the numbers are correct for the replacement.

Depending on the shaft you have, either it's a Timken/Dana driveshaft or an AAM.

If you have a local driveline shop see what it would cost to have a 1 piece shaft built.

When my carrier bearing was failing on my 05 I was able to get a new 1-piece shaft with larger u-joints built for less that it would have cost to replace the 3 u-joints and the carrier bearing.
