I had no change in grid heater cycle and it is down in the low 30s here in the morning. I can't tell yet but it seems (based on computer) that mileage might be up a little from what I was getting with the VanAiken. Will do a couple of tanks and hand compute to find out if it truly is.

Marco,

At 88 pages I haven't read the whole thread so maybe my question has been answered before.

How does what you've done differs from what Mark Chapple did in the early days of the ISB. The reason I ask is because I have one of his flashed ECMs in my 99. How much of an improvement would I see using your program?

Please PM me with pricing and purchasing details.

thanks

Mike

I think I can read my name on the one that is second from the bottom on the right hand side. :D Can't wait for next week! New CaTCHER, new M4's (and maybe even being the test dummy for Don Oo. :-laf ).

Now, where'd all that money that was in my bank account go?

The one on top is mine, Oo. He came up one short on the last batch of CaTCHERS,so i had to wait till next time. ;). Looking forward to the new found power.   DW

Well then I quess I get whats in the BIG box... ... :-laf Now questions:

1) How does the CaTCHER act in particular with the blue chip or red boxes?

2) Any one running it with JR's injectors?

Hey Bob, hurry and email me I want a ECM..... hahaha :-laf

Thanks everyone for your updates on performance, and Marco for giving us another play toy!

Marco, should be shipping the ecms back to me hopefully tomorrow.

When I shipped this last batch, I checked the wrong box on the shipping form so it took a week to get to Marco instead of 2 days

sorry for the delay.

next shipment should be shipping to marco within a week, any fence sitters? :-laf

thanks

Hi Bob if you are out there. I got home late from work and got your answering machine. The engine plate doesn't say anything about Ca (ISB235) so maybe it wasn't !?

Thanks for all your help :D

For those of you sitting on the fence... Marco and Bob are making sure the ecm is working properly and if not, they are taking steps to insure a happy customer. This over one little tiny anomaly on mine that no one else seems to of had a problem with. (Good service after sale)

As soon as the weather gets better I will tow the fifth wheel and report hopefully not to create new dissention :-{} but to add to the volumns of good information in this long post !

Thanks to Marco and Bob.

Ed,

please tell me more about the stalling issue you're seeing.

I've checked the SW you've got several times. Everything seems to be a OK there. If my memory serves me right, yours is the first time that problem is happening.

Just one more question. With you ORIGINAL SW better ECM, when you turn the key into the run position for how long did the LP run? A split second, or several seconds?

Thanks,

Marco

Marco, when I am running my big injectors, my truck stalls when going into D or R, mainly R. With smaller injectors it's not an issue. The stalling going into D or R mainly happens if the truck idles for a few minutes.

Is it due to the agressive timing in the ECM?? (for the AT) ??

I don't think so. That kinda stalling happens also with stock softwares...

It happens sometimes also with my truck. No matter what software I have in it at that moment. Once in a while it happens and then nothing for some time. I've never understood why my truck does it almost never, others always. I know for sure that the CaTCHER has often fixed that problem completly.

Bob,

I think running quick serve won't tell anything. Eventually, I will need the software revision # out the original ECM. I need to know if that truck is Carb or not.

Marco

Marco, Another member ran his engine number through quickserve and received this

This is what Cummins Quickserve had to say about my Engine Serial Number's Customer Interface Software. I guess it's CARB.
