I am VERY pleased with my trucks performance, its fantastic

I have a auto transmission and I don't want to use a mystery switch to force lock up, I have no billet shafts at all.

As a matter of fact this is the first generation DTT upgrade from 2000 when only a TC & VB and clutch pack upgrade was available.

my goal was 400 :) without a wire tap. can you believe I've gone 4 years and never pierced the wire :-laf now that is self control

Bob, with all the power, maybe you should go back. Abbotsford is but a short drive away. Maybe they would close the airfield and we could all meet and have some drag races.

LOL

I made the offer before

Hey Gary, are you coming to our get together this weekend? I offered to let you drive my truck.

If you make it here I will even pay for your fuel.

Come on let compare our trucks :)

Hey Bob, I got the Catcher hooked up, and all I have to say is WOW!!!!!!!! Drives like a gas motor!! Tows awesome!!!. Thanks to you and Marco for such a great product!!! Too bad I had to come back overseas to work and can't drive it every day. :D :D

Maybe I should have said throttle response/turbo spool-up is much improved, and it added 5 lbs of boost, don't know how, but it went to 32 psi. Oh, and I HATE gas motors, my race car burns alcohol, which is acceptable I guess!!

Gasoline is for cleaning parts, alcohol is for drinking, and diesel is for racing!

JEEZE Bob, I am SOOooo tempted! Oo.

I checked the map, and distance isn't too bad, but weather uncertainty might be a problem - here in our colder climate, I hafta winterize our trailer - and with potentially cold weather still on the horizon, I'd have to redo all that after returning - but I'll do another weather check between here and there today, and see if there's good prospects... Do you have any remaining trailer spots for a 24 ft 5er?

And I *do* appreciate your kind offer - OH, and I still have 2 completely full fuel tanks - so wouldn't need ay "travel assistance" ;) :D :-laf

Oh man, I dunno... The smell of 110 octane race fuel from my GN, or the smell of diesel from the 'ol CTD produce the same levels of excitement!!!

PS The shipment went today, for those who were wondering :)

Well, I got my " Marcoized " MAD CaTCHER ecm in over the weekend. Now this thing drives like it should have in the first place. I may even have to keep this truck.

My 02 was a dog up to 2000 rpm and then it seemed to come into its power curve of pulling. Now it pulls MUCH better through the total range of RPM. In some ways, I am going to have to learn to drive my truck again, as I have been so used to having to give it a lot of throttle to get it going and now I dont have to do that.

Throttle is very controllable and smoke is also controllable. I didn't know about Marco being able to program in a high idle as I didn't have that before, ( or I didn't know it was available ) and that was a nice addition with our winter warm ups here.

Marco, I think you hit the nail on the head with this one. This makes the truck so much more usable to me. Will be doing some towing here soon and well have to see how that goes and I will report back with that.

Also, Marco, is that the first autograph you have signed on my ECM?

Thanks also goes out to Bob Wagner for his continued great customer service.

Hey, the counters are working again... Steve must have done some magic to 'em... :D

Marco, is that the first autograph you have signed on my ECM?

Yup, and likely the last one. I'm not that kinda guy... Did it only because, oh well just for fun. :p

Thanks also goes out to Bob Wagner for his continued great customer service.

Ditto! Bob is doing a GREAT job!

Marco

Marco uses the most current version of software for the ECMs. This means that it has the High Idle in cold weather and the 3 cylinder shutdown for cold weather.

Marco, correct me if I'm wrong.

Jason

The high idle is one of the few things that I've not figured out completly, YET. The odd thing is what works Ok for one ECM does not always work in the next... I've scratched my head a lot with that thing!

Fact is the high idle software IS in EVERY CaTCHER I do, it seems that it's not enabled in all ECM's though. Why?

Should it not work, to enable the high idle thinghy a DRB is needed. With a DRB it takes not more than five minutes to enable the 3cyl high idle toy.

Oh, yeah, in my truck I was not able to get the high idle to work. A lot of

Turned out the transmission park switch needed to be adjusted, it never showed the transmission in park. That was the reason... No park, no high idle...
