Gang,
Bob and others waiting, I've shipped them ECM's, they should be delivered to Doug on Monday. This time UPS had a problem. They said unable to find the address ( my ). HUH, what?? it's the same, has always been that one!
Delayed the delivery for TWO full days..... :-{}
Oh well... .
Any idea how many production units are out & running now?
Over two hundred...
Thank you pete There should be more results being posted,
Well, you know how that goes on the web. People with problems or concerns WILL let you know. Happy campers... . That's just the way it is.
To DAWG-1's MSG.
The CaTCHER works for you even with the Comp.
Just as it does for me, our trucks are set up very similar.
I'm starting to think that the "comp incompatibility" becomes more noticeable then higher the boost becomes. In other words the trucks with twins suffer it, not the single turboed ones.
I guess it goes like this. Then higher the pressure in the combustion chamber, then higher the temperature during the compression stroke, then more advanced the fuel
ignition.
Combine that with the advanced timing ( i. e. sooner fuel injection into the combustion chamber ) from the CaTCHER & Comp, voilà...
Makes sense?
That's why cutting back the timing from the CaTCHER seems to help those trucks.
That brings me to a second thought.
IF the above is true, maybe that those twined trucks could gain more HP (top) from an even more retarted fuel injection???
Marco
P. S. Have a nice weekend!
