I've waited for your report for a long time! The surge/stumble/miss/studder

so many people complain about is FIXED????? R U sure?

Now THAT would be GREAT news!

As I had told you, the flash chip in your ECM was bad. I could read it correctly only after several attempts. The miss was caused by the bad chip, or is it fixed due to the CaTCHER itself ( I'd say the fuelling tables)? Who knows...

Well if I get another ECM with the "miss" complain I'll simply swap out the Chip... that + CaTCHER... et voilà! Oo. Oo. :D

This time I am positive my surge/stumble/miss/studder is gone. It was 28 degrees the other night and it run just like it does on a 70 degree day.

I can with 100% say that you fixed my truck

Thanks again Marco

A very satisfied costumer

Chris :D :)

Merry Christmas!

Another year has almost gone by...

Another Christmas is almost here...

I wish you all Merry Christmas.

Marco

P. S. You've all been good boys this year? Santa just stopped here, his sled is loaded with BOMB's... :D

Merry Christmas to all !

Marco, If I were to get a set of Bosio 275-300 RV replacement injectors, would your reflash need to be set specificaly for the Bosios ? If so, what would be the apropriate ECM's boost level for this ?

Thanks a bunch and have a SUPER year.

Marco what have you done with the cruise on mph? Can you set it to 0 so we could have a way to set the rpm's up when sitting still, So you can warm it up or run a pto. Thanks

THose injectors you mention are pretty mild compared with most of the ones discussed here. I would think the issues are minimal, and they are VERY well made. It's a pretty safe bet.

I just waded through all 1100+ posts in this thread... Judging from the response, it looks like I am not the only one who's discovered that the Italians are doing some amazing and innovative things with manufacturing and technology lately. It must be all the fantastic food or the gorgeous women or something, I visited last year and I want to go back so bad, all I need is a good excuse...

I've never seen/heard/tested "Bosio" injectors. So in all honesty I can't answer that specific question. Altough, I've tested a lot of different injectors. None ( expect the "crazy" ones ) needed a different tuning through the CaTCHER. With the CaTCHER + injectors = then better the injector than better the performance.

Lately???

Well, just as an example the first 16V DOHC ( 4 Cyl )production engine was a Lancia back in 1930. . Ferrari, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo... . I think those names tell you something.

Besides that, most diesel injection system parts are build in reality here in Italy... . :D :D :D

Still wondering do we have to find a spare to send? Or have you been able to set up a core charge till you receive ours back?

Marco, Check this sight out http://www.kermatdi.com/ I also am a member to the TDR page and read their review of these Bosio nozzles. They claimed with the new Italian made nozzles, the test truck actual had increased steady running fuel pressure by 1 lb, lowered EGT by 50 deg. F and boost went down 2 psi. while holding a steady 70 mph. They figured the engine must be getting a better burn with these nozzles to get this kind of responce. They liked the way the truck ran with the Bosio's aside from the fact it has a full Banks bomb job. I'v been told these Bosio nozzles beat the bosch units hands down in the VW TDI's on power/milage. Both my TDI and CTD may very well get a set of these this year. Too bad they didn't give any hard milage numbers for the Cummins. Right now, IMO your flash and these nozzles look like the ultimate hook up! ;)

Be Well.

Walt, I agree with you for the average trailer puller and hotrodder, the catcher and a set of injectors is very hard to beat.

The turbo may need to be upgraded though. All I run is catcher and sticks, very good combination.

shipment

just a head's up for those considering the CaTCHER upgrade, The list is coming together for the next shipment.

Thank you
