Here are Task125's antenna mounts. I can't see anything wrong with them, but are there any experts out there that might be able to help? He's got the coax shielding mounted to the angle mount and the center of the coax run to the stud. It doesn't look like the shielding comes into contact with the center wire of the coax.

I heard that before I think it had something to do with the ECM you may have to move the antenna or the coax Try loading the cb with the antenna moved off to the side or further away from the truck just to test it.....

wow I am really starting to think I screwed something up tried starting the truck and cb was on truck ran all rough, turned off cb truck ran fine

Ready for this one,I disconected my quad box and it does not do it any more. some how the quad box gets messed up with cb

Some coax have 75% shielding and other high quality coax is 95%. Maybe upgrading the coax will help.

Also, I second the recommendation of not keying the CB without an antenna attached. It will be just a matter of time before you burn up the CB. Same thing occurs with high SWR readings. Anytime a high percentage of the transmitting energy is reflected back to the CB, problems will occur. That being said, what are your SWR readings on your current setup?? Maybe that could be contributing to the interference. You running an amp on the CB??

yes,They said to wrap quad box wire thru it a few times and my ant wire. I never heard of it,but I will give it a shot
