I have a 2014 DRW Crew Laramine. It came with out the extra/spare aux switches in the center stack I would like to add some driving lights and some flood lights in the rear can I change my center stack to the one that has the Aux Switches.

Thanks

Nope. If you search it, you can find it somewhere on this site. There has been a fair amount of discussion about it and I don't think anyone has come up with an installation option.

I want to disagree because I think I remember seeing post on forum brand 'B' where members have added the AUX switches with success.

I too was set on buying a truck with the factory OEM auxiliary switches until I dicovered that I would have to navigate through the EVIC every time to activate the feature buttons lost via the AUX button panel. This is when I decided that i would simply run wires and relays for my accessories just like I have for all the other Dodge Cummins I've ever owned.

I've been told by Chrysler that the 4 aux upfitter switches are not field upgradeable, yet when you look up the parts, they are cheap and available. Wire harness, fuse/relay box for under hood, and a new switch plate. Should be plug and play in 2014 models, and not controlled by the EVIC

I got tired of looking and the local dealerships were no help, so I did the same as above, installed my own in one of the center dash option plugs (where a second cig lighter/power port/usb port would go)

Would also require a system reprograming, if it is even possible.

Just wire some switches using a Painless kit and go around the truck's wiring. It is just too complicated nowadays.

We order spare switches in our Freightliner and Western Star trucks, the Cascadias for example are impossible to upfit. If additional switches are needed we bypass the truck's wiring. We tried to add on factory stuff after the fact and had no success. We have some pretty savvy techs and they could not make it work.

Mike.

I have heated/ventilated seats along with heated Steering wheel. I heard that you can access aux switches thru the nav or evic screen where would they be this is ok with me I only want to use it for rear light when I am backing down a ramp at 3am in the dark for the rear flood lights

Thanks for all the help
