Shop Day at Garmon's

Rprovence son needs help in Virginia

As far as I can tell, injectors and the EZ work well together. I run the Comp on 1 so it really is a EZ with on / off switch. I do DD2's. The EDM's are really attractive technology and seem to be settleing down in reliability.

When I did DD2's a few of the EDM tips were breaking trashing engines so I went with honed injectors.

I was surprised I only had 250 hp (DD2's, Scotty II, Comp on 1, KSB1-B, 4"), but it does what I want it to, so that is really what counts.

Here is a picture of the revent and one of my truck on the rollers. Aparently there is not enough fuel notices by the amount of smoke. I will have to work on that. Had a great time there and have to say thanks to everyone involved in the days events. Oo.

Upgraded injectors to power wagon and tuned the punp back down to almost stock and ran 190. 3 HP and 440. 9 lb/ft at the meet adjusting pump back up some to get some more fuel at full load. then try to run the dyno again and track changes in power levels.

Ok... I think I understand something now. Does anyone or everyone remember how Chris at PDQ stated we could add 40 or so HP to our max numbers to get the numbers a dyna-jet dyno would produce??

I posted my numbers etc and the question about the EZ+ injectors in the 3rd gen forum and everyone said my numbers were a low as were most everyone elses... BECAUSE EDGE and Diesel DYNAMICS use the dyna-jet dynos for their info on all thier products... it's what they use to test and post the HP/TQ numbers for their adds. SO with that in mind... PDQ did it right for the type of dyno they use... BUT for those of us with edge and/or DD prodcuts... we need to add about 40 HP and I am waiting to see what type of torque difference we should be adding.

So that puts me up around 325 HP based on edge and DD's numbers... Mark and Jim Goldsberry. . I am not sure where you would be with the TST. Jim may be a little higher than me and Mark you may be up near the 400 range like we thought.

And Bob... that makes yours about 280-290. SO that's why our numbers seemed low. They aren't incorrect... just different variances used by different dynos and shops using them.
