I just got a set of four Centramatic balancers as a birthday present from my son. He has them on his '08 F-250 and swears by them. I ran a search on the forum but could not find any info that was less than two years old... . I seem to remember reading somewhere that they were not recommended for my truck. I have an '08 Mega 4X4 with stock tires that have almost 27K on them. One of the tires was replaced at 5K by the dealer because it was "out of round" when brand new... ... just wanted some current input before deciding whether or not to install them.

I have heard that they are pretty good. You might call the company that made them & they should know if they will work. I haven't heard of any trucks that they would not work on. Some others on here might know.

I have about 25k on the centramatics on my '01. I really can't tell any difference in the ride, but this is the first set of tires I've ever had on a Ram that are wearing well.

I've been running Centramatics for about a year. I am very happy with them. Mine have been on for about 50,000 miles, all highway. I run about 1400 a week for work. They help with the minor vibrations that transmit through the steering you still get after balancing the tires . Andres is correct. . The larger the tire the better they work. I'm running 285/70/17's on my truck. They are worth the money... my opinion.

Been running the Centramatics on all my pickups for about 5 years now, and have been extremely happy with the results. Just make sure to check your lug nuts regularly. While I've never had an issue, I've been told they tend to make the lug nuts come loose (could be an old wives tale for all I know).

Had them on my 03 since new. One of the best up grades I have done. Tires wear even with no cupping and I have not had a balance problem at all. I still get new tires balanced when installed but I never balance them after that. The sooner you put them on the sooner you will benefit from them. Never had a problem with loose lug nuts neither, just torque them properly.

I've been running them for about 4 yrs now. They are great for tire wear and balance comfort. However, I am on my third set. The previous two sets had a problem where as the fluid seemed to dry up or solidify with the internal weight media somehow. This was very shocking the first time because it felt like my tires were out of balance but I dismissed that thinking there was no way but that's what is was. My truck is a daily driver so that was not caused from lack of use. Centramatic was very easy to deal with so far and have replaced them both times with out issue. They could not tell me why this was happening though. I'm thinking maybe the extreme heat we have here in AZ. I attribute my good tire wear to them as I got 56k on my last set of BFG AT's. Good luck and enjoy.

I've been running them for about 23k now, and have no complaints.

I had to repair one of my tire valves last year and removed the balance weights in the process. I put the wheel and tire back in service with only the Centramatic for balance, and have experienced no vibrations or uneven wear in that tire.
