I just installed my new CFM+ intake manifold and wanted to post these pics for anyone interested.

The hardest part of the install is scraping off the old gaskets and also lining up the hose clamp on the new silicone hose (clamp sticks to the silicone hose like glue).

I went with the black instead of the carbon fiber because I thought it might match the valve cover and AFE Stage 2Si better.

Will let you know if I feel any performance differences.

I had the AFE Bladerunner.

After reading and re-reading Eriks Tri Valley dyno testing and now that the CFM+ has the ports, I had to pull the trigger.

I was really apprehensive about the dipstick moving outboard, but honestly it moved outboard easier than it did to conform to the AFE Bladerunners "stock" location.

Regards,

Louis

Here are some pics of my CFM+. Can't see it to clearly due to the Fleetguard FF5320 2 micron filter in front of it. Been running for about two months and very satisfied with it. Also waiting for the grid heater delete to arrive from WinSpeed to maximize my gain. :-laf Man I was just looking at my engine and its starting to look like a jet engine with all that hoses. Its beginning to scare me a bit.

I drove the truck today and I can tell a difference with the new manifold vs. the Bladerunner. Its not night and day, but it is noticeable.

I can't wait to hook up the 5th wheel and pull a hill... That will be the true test.

BD- just had one explode on a dyno... ... it's in 3-4 pieces... ... just keep an eye on it if your running 50+psi of boost

i am not saying they are all like that just saying this one did explode... PIC IS ABOVE

i installed one two nweeks ago and also deleted my heater grid at the same time. I noticed that the throttle responce was a lot better down low compared to stock. Also i think my egt is lower 30-40 degrees. I would love to have a nice stainless or aluminum. Not really a big fan of plastic but i got it because it outperforms everything else out there. Definitely makes a noticable power difference at low rpm.
