In my opinion.... it appears to be a dealer profitability enhancer.

Wow. Should be illegal.

"Absolutely NOTHING wrong with changing the sump filter earlier"

BUT BUT BUT does than mean that there is NOTHING wrong with changing ALL the ATF??? :D

Nobody said there was anything wrong with changing all of the oil, the problem is when you tell everyone, ad nauseam, that you absolutely should and if you don't, you are neglecting your trans. Further to go on and on in every post on the subject, that it is asinine to only change part of the fluid, when in reality, it is perfectly fine and is what the factory recommends. That is the problem.

Nice to exaggerate what I have said.

Can we focus on this "dealer-FX" thing? What exactly is it?

Their website is dealer-fx.com.

It looks like software to manage the dealers service desk.

They advertise:
$97 Increase / VIN
3x Increase in Customer Retention
24% Increase in Parts & Service Revenue
21% Increase in Number of ROs (repair orders presumably)
93% Increase in Factory Required Maintenance Penetration

If it had the proper service intervals in it, it would be nice.

How else would they attain their 24% increase in parts & service revenue though? :-laf
