Chat room status?

It seems with the display of who is in the chat room that it has effectively killed the chat since no one will go in if it shows no one in chat.



Is it possible to get rid of the little box at the bottom of the forum that shows who is in the chat room?



I would personally like to see the chat resurrected!!

I'm willing to give it a shot. I thought putting it there would make people more likely to go in there because they'd see when people were in there. Either way someones going to have to go in there and stay there for a while before someone else happens to drop in. I used to stay in there for an hour or two before someone would come along. I've got so many pans in the fire these days that I just haven't had time to go in there much for a long time. You might try setting up a time for people to meet in there and post it on the site too.

Check your internet security software - it probably is restricting Java. Several of the internet security packages out there turn off Java. There are no specific "settings".

Something on your PC. I'm in there right now. Have you added any new internet security software? If so, check for anything blocking java.

Did you look at your internet security software yet? There was also an update for IE that put restrictions on Applets - try adding the tdr site to the trusted sites list - tools->internet options->security, click on trusted sites and then add the address that you use to the list.

For Mark his java software was corrupted. I had him go to http://www.java.com and download the latest java and he got right on.
