Larry, looks like you have your hands full! From your engine picture it looks like you've been running it as it sits,I was just wondering how far down the driveway it vibrated when you started it?Wish I could help with your needs, although I did see a totaled 1st gen. Ram being hauled thru Chelan this week, probibly on it's way to the truck junkyard in Moses Lake, they've done good for me. Also Walt&Verns Pickup Parts in Buckley has a good selection of wrecked Rams. Good luck
Bill

Surprisingly this thing runs smooth and just sits there. If you blip the throttle though you better be holding onto it or it'l try to roll over. #ad

I found this a couple of years ago. It had been in a barn since the late 70s. I think the Cummins will make a really nice addition, with the price of gas and all. It got 7-8mpg with the 400ci/727auto. I hope to get 15-17mpg with the 215hp/5sp. I usually drive about 60. It weighs in at 9500lbs. Once I start bombing it should be a real hotrod as far as motorhomes go.

Larry,

Another big worthwile project #ad
You know, while the motor is out & you can get to the pump, why not get the TST #11 plate & the governor spring kit #ad
You'll be able to get to things so much easier. You won't have to worry about clutch problems with that plate as it's at the limits of the stock clutch.

HX35s days are numbered, HX40-16 is here.

Forrest. I have been leaning towards just getting it in and working in stock form for the first step. Less variables. You know how that is. Then my plan is to make a decision as to if the 5sp is satisfactory or if I will work on the Roadranger 9 or 10spd conversion. I plan to then start bombing (there goes my mileage dreams) with 370hp injectors, TST #5, HX40, governor spring kit and clutch. #ad
Anybody ever see a motorhome light-em up? #ad
Hopefully the Dana 70 will hold up to this nonsense.

Gary, good idea, I'll take some this week and add em in. Oh yea, it's a 25 footer.

Larry... nice shots...
might I suggest that you upgrade the clutch while its out as the power level your going to be at in the end will need the upgrade... JMHO
Oh BTW I noticed the important things were high on the list [the red box in the second picture. . hehe]
