First, thanks for all the replies in my other thread about which transmission to pick. That was helpful!
Now, I have been lurking around, searching, reading and gathering info. I did a lot of research before deciding on the Dodge, and I believe the Cummins is the way to go.
Awesome newsletter, by the way. I read through the whole TDR nl last night. Great stuff.
Anyway, when I get the truck, it seems that there are things that people do right away:
- fuel tank vent mod
- EGT/Boost gauge (I'm thinking Westach in the SRT pod)
- mudflaps/fender liners
- brake controller
- bed liner (thinking Line-x)
- tonneau cover (if I have the $$$)
I am sure that I am missing some stuff. I don't plan on bombing much if at all, at least until the warranty runs out.
If anyone can think of something else to do to make the truck more enjoyable and more reliable, please chime in!
TIA
