It is almost done, I have a little bit of work to do yet too get all my tools in place and what not, and I am still going to build a crane some time this summer to mount on the bed, more pictures to come later. Here is how she looks so far. I see why you guys work on some of these projects for a long time, there is a lot of hours getting thing to fit and hook up all together so everything works. The loaner pickup was a 1993 two wheel drive 250 with a Getrag. I had to make the front cross-member and motor mounts, I used the trans mount from the pickup, just modified it to fit the truck frame. I used the master cylinder and slave off the pickup, the radiator, and aftercooler also came off the pickup. I have to run electric fans because of the belt driven air compressor doesn't allow room for belt driven fan. The intake horn came off of 2001 pickup in the signature because it has the Banks intake on it, it made the bend nice to clear the booster for the brakes. I changed the rearend to 4. 88:1 gear ratio, and added a little bit smaller tires so the bed sits lower and by some strange stroke of luck the speedometer seems to be pretty much right on the money (at least the odometer is with the mile markers on the road, haven't used the GPS yet to check it). I have to do some work to the power steering pump, I was told that the tank doesn't hold enough oil for the big truck steering gear so I am going to mount a remote tank and see if that helps. I make the truck air-ride in the rear as well. Behind the tool box is a 400 gallon fuel tank that stretches to the other side of the truck, and a 10 foot bed behind there with GatorHyde sprayed on the top and bottom of the bed. A 3 inch receiver hitch, with two trailer plugs, one for RV style, and one for pulling farm implements. With more tricks to come as time passes by.
