Chevy Suburban advice

Looking to buy a Suburban. Will be used only for trips. Sold the 5th wheel and want to go the motel route. Wife wants to buy used (99-00) I am leaning toward new because of deals $7000 off MSRP. If she finds a used one it will have to be a real creampuff because she is very particular. How about some input? Buying used will leave more money for me to Bomb my truck but don't let that influence your input.

Not exactly a 'Burb...but close!

Tom, we bought a used 2000 Tahoe about a year ago. Had 48K miles, original window sticker said $41. 5K, got it for 27K. Was a Z71 model with all the options and flawless condition. Has not had a single problem to date and is great for trips. Now, if I were buying a similar vehicle now with some good used PSD Excursions out there, I think I'd go with the diesel.
