How did Noah gather two of all animals on earth? He had seven days to do what, travel the earth, capture the animals, and load them up. Keep them cared for over I think one year at sea. I am not buying it, sorry. BTW Do you think he gathered a bigfoot and some snipe? Wish he would have left the damn mosquitos out
I honestly think the story has a link to a real event, and I have no problem accepting the bible once you decide that it is not to be taken literally. See that is why we have so many religions from so few sources, its all in the interprutation. That is why one religion is no better than the next in Gods eyes. At least that is how I think it must be.

Boy! Where to begin? I think it would be good to first read the account in the Bible, so as not to confuse what it said and what isn't.
Gen. 1:6-8 talks about the waters above the earth being separated from the waters on the earth and the separation was called a firmament or as vs. 8 says it was heaven. There are 3 heavens that the Bible talks about. The 1st. one is that of the atmosphere were the birds fly. The 2nd. is that of the Universe. The 3rd. Heaven is where God dwells and where Christians go after death. Read II Cor 12:1-4 for comparision.
God caused the animals to go to Noah, easy enough.
Gen. 7:11 The fountains of the great deep were broken up. There are great reserves of water under the earth, anyway that was the 1st. thing. Then the windows of heaven were opened. The canopy of water above the earth let go. ----------and it rained for 40 days and for 40 nights.
If all of the water in the polar ice caps were to melt it would flood the earth completely. (Check you science books) Back at the time of the flood the entire earth was subtropical, evidenced by various fossil type tropical plants found all over the world and some at increadble altitudes, this also including the North and South Pole.
Here in Colorado at over 8000' we have petrified Giant Redwoods (Florisent, Colo. ) How did they get there? There is "tons" of evidence in the fossil record to back this up.
Your logic is escaping me as you jump from the story of Noah to all of the religions are accepted by God. I don't get your point.
You said that the Story of Noah is a link to a real event? What event? What does that mean if it isn't true? The story is about the whole earth being flooded. Not just a flood in some country,----that happens every year all over the world.
What lesson is to be learned by telling this story if it isn't totally true??????????
