Thanksgiving got off to a bad start when I backed the passenger side mirror into the garage door track. It folded back, down and onto the ground.
Totaled it right out. Turned to the right just in time to see it connect with the garage.
Anyway, the replacement mirror was about $225. After I got the door panel off, the little plastic "Christmas tree" fasteners were a little worse for wear. I decided to replace 'em. The dealer charged me $2. 99 apiece for the dad gum things!
There has to be a source for these aforementioned fasteners that lets 'em go a little bit better price, isn't there? Anybody know of one?
The upside of this sad story is that I now know how to get inside my door without wrecking things too much. The downside is that I had to drop $300 on a mirror that I would've rather spent on a Horton or Rhino Liner. Oh well.
Thanks,
Tim
