If my scanner was working I could e-mail you the work order. I can copy though and stick it in the regular mail if they need it to get the process started.

Look over the 2002 sales brochure, all of the SLT models have shaded glass, you might point this out when you talk to them.

The zone rep/manager or who ever had final approval apparently told the dealership to write it up as a windshield flaw. Campbell Dodge in Centralia Wa. where the truck was purchased did the request and the installation. Thus far this dealership has been a pleasure to work with, sales and service seem to be interested in doing the right thing for the customer. Maybe there is 5 star service at some of these dealers!

Guys , I work for a windshield manufacturer ( That will remain nameless at this time), heres the deal with your windshields. If you do not have the sunshade band across the top, look where your mirror mounts to the glass. There should be a painted spot in this area dropping down from the top of the w/s . This is called the third visor. Any w/s mopar makes at this time with that spot of paint in the center will not be shaded. They even do this on the new PT cruiser! They just started this practice this year. Yea seems silly to everyone I talk to!!
