Class C Cummins Motorhome???

I saw a Class C, with a dodge truck front end motor home and the dodge dealership. It had the cummins 24 V. I am looking for more info on this. I just drove by and didn't have a chance to stop and take a look. Any information of make model size or anything else would be appreciated.

Yes thats it!!! I can imagine it now!! Me and the fam haull'n A$$ up the canyon with a trail of smoke following. I need to know where to get one. I saw one in the back lot at West Valley Dodge.

Think they are produced by a company called Serro, they are called "Scotty" I think. I have seen a couple here in Texas, nice looking rigs.



I saw a very similar motorhome, but older, based on a Ford pickup. The decals were pretty much wiped out, but the unit looked to be pretty solid - at first I thought it was a truck camper but it was a small Class C with a pickup front end instead of a van. Looked like a pretty practical setup.

Scotty (Serro) made them in '94 - '95 ... I don't think they make RVs anymore, just some custom commercial trailers.

I think the Ford-based motorhome that I saw was a Coachmen, it looked like an 80's or early 90's style Ford truck but I didn't get a close look.



The Scotty's are pretty slick, I saw one down in Temple TX on I-35 several weeks ago, almost went in the ditch rubbernecking at it...

Yep, they were made by Serro Scotty. There was a big fire at the factory several years ago. The company decided not to rebuild after the fire and are out of the RV business. Evidently, they weren't very successful at that venture.

Serro fire

They did have a major fire at the factory. When they rebuilt, they decided to manufacture fire doors. I guess they could see a real need for those!
