Next question Has anyone figured out how to lower the truck height with the air suspension? the 1" drop is not enough.

You can try shortening the height control sensor rods. I haven't looked at the factory 2500 system, but all air ride systems have to have a height sensor of some sort. You just need to change the distance of what is considered "normal height".

My 1500 has height sensors at all four corners which would be very easy to change, I'd guess Ram uses something similar on the 2500.

Not to hijack this thread but I was jumped all over for mentioning this issue in the" Who Bought a 2015-16?" thread. Please post your problem in that thread.

Are there any guidelines for the minimum clearance between the trailer and truckbed on a 5th wheel?

Last time I measured the gap between truck bed rails and bottom edge of RV, it was 7-9 inches. I suppose everyone will have a what is best. I would think it would be better to have more distance than less. You go into a dip, there is less chance of the 5er coming into contact with the truck bed. Just my 1/2 cent.
