Hello all,
I was at the local Dodge dealer and it was determined that I have a 'cracked' clockspring. I did not encounter any problems with this before, however, after I had the steering wheel wiring harness replaced (recall... ), everytime I turned the wheel it would feel like everything in the column was getting ripped apart.
Low and behold, Dodge has now indicated that it was due to a cracked clockspring. Funny that it did not do it before the recall. Maybe the mechanic broke the clock spring when he did the wiring???
Has anyone ever had this problem with the clockspring or the wiring harness???
