Went to the Boston RV show today, pretty good show. Dodge had a couple trucks there so I stoped by to ask some questions, the gentleman said he was a regional rep for Dodge, not a dealer. We got talking told him what I tow, he asked how does it tow? I said not to bad, sometimes have to drop out of OD on big hills, he said that you should never tow in OD, I pointed out that I had the 4. 10s and it could be tough to go highway speed in 3rd, he did not have an answer for that. Tonight for fun I took in out of OD getting on the highway, 68MPH is as fast as it will go in 3rd. I thought it was pretty funny how the rep would say not to tow in OD, where do these guys get thier info? I thought the dealers were clueless.

Scary isn't it :eek: My '03s have 150k combined miles of towing 15k lb loads daily. They pull in OD, no problems. That is a livin' in the 80's statement. Sounds like they should send him back to the customer service desk to answer phones, he would be in like company, a bunch of know nothings trying to help but lacking actual knowledge of any kind :{
