When I drive my truck on rough roads, potholes or washboard type bumps, I get a clunk from the rear of the truck. It happens when the tires fall in the hole and hit the bottom or like going fast over a speed bump when the tires fall off the other side of the speed bump and hit the ground. It sounds almost like something is loose but I have not been able to find anything that is loose or out of the ordinary. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked and/or replaced the shocks lately? The shocks would be my first guess, the body mounts my second.

It must be the shocks. I do know that they are wore out, they don't do much for absorbing shock anymore :D .
