Peter, It was not How'dHeDoThat's Clutch , It was mine. I went back in my service records and the clutch was installed at 100,231miles, the truck now has 136789 on the clock. Yeh the brass bushing was worn and did fall out after I pulled the Flywheel off, but it fell out the back side ,not the front side . With inspection of ,it will only go in from the back side couldn't reinsert through the front, and has about 11 mm of area that the shaft sits in. Checked the bearings in the imput area and has almost nill in movement. You make a good product , and I've seen trucks equiped with the same clutch take more HP and a lot of abuse that are still holding up , 2 of which that have the brass bushing, that I know of. But I've made up my mind I'm going to go ahead and through as much fuel to my truck as is possible so I never have to look at another single disk clutch again. Much More options that way.
As far as my Monday went , My friend Who took most of a day to HELP me out should get an appology. He only said what he saw and helped pull out.
I lost a day a work and a big chunk out of my pride , as we towed my truck with Fords and Chevys passing us. If it hadn't been for my friends ,I would probably still be stuck on the side of the road, and not getting to work so I can afford to put a clutch in my truck . And special thanks to Special Intrests for loaning me money so when I decide what to put in there, I can. When I do figure out what I want in this truck , I think this time I'll install it myself and leave the part changers and cheerleaders sitting on the bench. I'm Done Ranting So ... ... ... .....
Can we get back to the reason this thread was started, I want to hear about Dual Disks,Triples . It don't matter But No single Disk clutches.
