Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Clutch Engagement

How far out before your clutch engages. Mine seems to be farther then normal but then again I am used to drivin a Ford gasser.

I have always thought mine engaged fairly high too, just thought it was the clutch getting old (bought truck with 57,000 miles). I put in a South bend clutch and it still engages pretty high but it holds the power, so maybe it's normal?

My first two clutches (stock and a very old South Bend) engaged the same way. It always seemed really high to me. The new Con Fe seems to have the same engagement, but a lower disengagement if that makes any sense?????
