I floored the petal today in 3rd gear. Taking off to get in fast traffic.
The rpms went to 2500 real quick from around 1800 right after I shifted to 3rd.
At first I thought the wheels were spinning on the wet road. But never felt the wheels
grab and the road didn't look wet.
I believe the clutch was slipping. I didn't think there was enough power with the stock
torque plate to slip the clutch.

I slid the plate full foward awhile back.

Is this a common accurance with a stock plate?
I think this is the first time I really drove it hard after slidding plate.
I guess I need to move it back some, what do you guys think here?
You think maybe the clutch is already in bad shape?
Wonder how much power this stock clutch can handle?
I sure would hate too loose my power
