Engine Dead

I have a 99 Dodge 2500 and I have a code P1693 which just tells me there is a fault set in the ECM.I have a DRBIII and that's all it tells me. I need to know where to go from here

If there is another code with it it is not showing up on my DRBIII. There are no symptoms. the truck runs fine. The speedo wasn't working so I replaced the rear wheel ABS sensor and now the speedo works. the truck has a tuner on it and I removed the tuner and that didn't do anything. when I try to clear the code the DRBIII says request denied.

I think it is the other way around. The P1693 says an error in the companion module IE the PCM.

Smarty Tuner sets this code too, you can ignore it as a glitch. Like said, it's a companion, as it comes on its own and alone = no problem.

Yeah, I figured that out when I connected Autoenginuity to my buddies '99, the Electonics in the second Gen are pretty basic and not of great help. As long as it runs fine, ignore the rest.
